I generally like to hire a masseur based on the reviews that I read here. I had been looking for some bodywork as I had been having some issues with my back and neck that were getting progressively worse. I called Robert to make an appointment and he returned my call quickly. He gave me the option of having my massage in his Newport Beach office or his home in Long Beach. I opted for Long Beach as it was more convenient. When I arrived, he greeted me at my car with a big smile and warm welcome. He offered me something to drink before the session started. We started by him asking questions about what my specific problem areas were. I started on my back with him working specific areas on my back, neck and shoulders. What I liked and appreciated was the fact that he explained as he went along what he was doing and how it related to the pains I was experiencing. Within 20 minutes or so, all the pain in my neck and back that I had been experiencing for months was relieved. I felt like a new man! After that was some detailed work on my legs, glutes and feet (the foot massage was heaven!) After that, I turned over for more work on my back, neck, legs and shoulders. I am not a person who tends to gush, but this massage rates one of the very best I have ever had. Robert is completely in tune with the male body and knows his stuff. He is a warm, caring, humorous person who exudes a ton of positive energy. I feel better today than I have in months, thanks to him. After the session ended, he offered me some water and ended with a big, welcome hug! I can't say enough good things about this guy, you will just need to experience it for yourself.
